Raquy Danziger’s Düm Group: This electrifying show features Turkish style darbuka/dumbek drumming, Persian Kemenche, and throat singing. The intricate and dazzling compositions comprise rhythms from Turkey, Egypt, Iran and India, as well as funk, samba and hip hop beats. Treat your eyes and ears!

It takes place in ’70’s blue­collar NJ, and features an extraterrestrial grandmother, a pothead dad, and the 9yr old girl who attempts to

save the world from the evil clutches of said Grandma. The show

features music by East Village psych­folk band Goddess.
